CARES Act Assistance through Volusia County

  • Rental assistance – deadline to apply is Dec. 30
    Volusia County will accept applications from households that have been financially impacted by COVID-19. Rental assistance may be provided to eligible households for up to three months. Click here for more informationor email communityassistance@volusia.org.
  • Mortgage assistance – deadline to apply is Dec. 30
    Volusia County will accept applications from households that have been financially impacted by COVID-19.   • Business and Nonprofit Grants – Deadline to apply is Dec. 11

  • Emergency Repair

Volusia County will accept applications from homeowners that have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and are in need of one or both of the following emergency repairs to their home: septic tank pump out or central heat & air (HVAC) unit repair or replacement. Click here for more information.

City Parks
City of Orange City’s parks and amenities are open for the public to use.  Pavilion and field rentals have resumed. Rentals have been modified to follow current CDC guidelines. Park visitors should continue to practice appropriate social distancing measures.

City Council Meetings
City Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Following the CDC guidelines, Council Members, staff and any attending members of the public will be provided a location in the Council Chambers at least six feet apart. To protect the health of employees and residents, seating is limited. To accommodate those who wish to provide public comment, you may contact the City Clerk, mberinger@ourorangecity.com or 386-775-5403.
